When anchoring refractory concrete linings, ceramic anchors and/or combinations of stainless steel anchors and ceramic anchors may be used. Combined anchoring systems are suitable for linings subjected to extreme loads, in which physical and chemical properties of two different materials are beneficial. Ceramic anchors are fixed to the structure of the plant components using ceramic anchor holders. Tvikon manufactures ceramic anchor holders from stainless steel rods (diameter 10 to 12 mm), or from stainless steel sheeting (usually 5 mm in diameter) and/or using a combination of the two methods.
